Last week my dear daughter-in-law, Tawnya, introduced me to a very special friend of hers. Her friend is a lovely young woman that was adopted at 6 years old from Thailand. She was so patient and sweet with me, freely telling me of her adoptive experience. She had loads of tips and ideas to help make Elaina Xin's transition easier. I really appreciate her time and openness giving me this special look into the heart of the child coming to us to be our daughter. A million thanks to both of these sweet young ladies for caring and giving their time to help bring our precious daughter home happy and healthy in her spirit!
