Wow! We received our I797 Approval in just 7 days rather than the expected 6 weeks! We are so excited that Elaina Xin is almost home! I had planned to jump into the car and run to Austin to have our stack of papers "State Certified" and then to Houston to be "Authenticated" at the Chinese Consulate. However I have been temporarily delayed. Our son #2 had a very bad accident on his motorcycle and is in hospital. He's doing well, Praise God! but has a very serious injury to his right foot. I've been spending all my extra time loving on him but I hope to make the document run to our beautiful State Capitol tomorrow.
I'm not sure but I think we might be just several more weeks away from our daughter!
