Rewind

I miss blogging.  Never thought I would say that.  When home computers made their debut back in 1978 (at least that's when it came into my home) I fought the very idea of it.  What good are they?  Huge time wasters.  They'll never be mainstream.  Five years later when it seemed everyone had a Mac or Compaq taking up space I was sticking to my principles and my day runner, yellow legal pad and number 2 Ticonderoga.

So there.  I give up.  I'm in.  I'm a blogger.

Back to the blog. 

Let's rewind the past twelve months.  (This is officially my excuse why I haven't logged any new entries since Christmas).

My middle son was in a near tragic motorcycle accident, my youngest son and his sweet wife welcomed their second child our 6th grandchild, we adopted a little munchkin from China, the usual holiday stuff, heart procedure on said munchkin, and now grandchild number 7 has made her debut.

Meanwhile in the background I help care for 2 senior ladies (mother-in-law and ex-step aunt), play with my grand kids and try to keep ice cream dates, host Sunday night bible study in our home, home school the new darling, keep house, visit with my husband and occasionally work in a few hours of sleep.

Tonight I forgo the sleep in lieu of updating my poor blog.

ps  The Christmas ornaments are put away, dog is groomed, house in some semblance of order, post placement paperwork posted, ironing caught up and the checkbook is balanced (give or take a few bucks)!  Hallelujah!
